Lord helps both Asuras and Devatas, both types of thorns.

Lord shows his temporary forms like a thunderbolt, or a glaring light to the asuras, and when he withdraws this, they think that he has no form, or is no longer existent.

Kaliyuga started just after the battle of Kurushetra, but it only partially manifested. It fully manifested when the Lord left for His transcendental abode.

One should not rot in the dark well of household life till one is dragged out by the will of Yamaraja.
